The Belgian Brass ensemble has its origins in the former Belgian Brass Soloists quintet. Artistic leader Manu Mellaerts launched the idea to unify a larger polyvalent group of musicians so as to broaden its artistic horizons. The ensemble consists of eminent musicians who all obtained a position as a soloist in different symphonic orchestras.
